Yummy 12 Minute Pressure Cooker Applesauce

My friend Amanda McKeen shared with me her amazing Applesauce recipe! I hope you enjoy it! It is super easy to make and can be converted to Fruit Leather (like a fruit roll up) by using a dehydrator too!

Tupperware needed: Tupperware Pressure Cooker, Power Chef, Corer and Measuring cups

Ingredients:

  • 5 lb bag of apples
  • Vinegar for a quick vinegar wash
  • 1/2 cup water

Step 1: Do a quick Vinegar wash and then remove the core of the apple.

Step 2: Cut them in 1/2 and put them into the Tupperware Pressure Cooker with 1/2 cup of water. Microwave on high for 12 minutes.

Step 3: After they are soft and cooked put them into the Power Chef for a quick spin to make them in to a puree.

Fun Fact she has: If you leave the peels on your apples, the applesauce will have more fiber and make you feel full longer!

From there she takes some of the applesauce and places it in the dehydrator to make fruit leather. She will store it in Modular Mates OR Snack Bar Keeper.

Thank you so much Amanda for sharing this amazing recipe!!
