Oven Baked Apple Pancakes

Every year on my birthday my husband makes me an Oven Baked Apple Pancake. In Minnesota we used to have a restaurant called Pannekoeken Haus where these are made and where it was inspired by! On Sundays my mom used to take us to the Pannekoeken Haus and I would order the same thing each time…an Apple Pannekoeken or otherwise known as a Oven Baked Apple Pancake. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do!

Prep: 10 Minutes | Cook: 25 Minutes | Servings: 6

  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Flour
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Large Apple Peeled
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar

Place 9 x 13 UltraPro Lid (flipped for baking) + Butter into oven. Turn on to 400 Degrees

Mix Eggs, Milk, Flour in Thatas Bowl or Whip n Mix. When smooth, add Cinnamon and Vanilla Extract

Peel Apple and slice into thin slices.

Remove UltraPro from oven. Butter should be melted. Ensure the entire base is covered in butter (i.e. move it around so it’s coated). Sprinkle brown sugar over the butter. Lay sliced apples over the top of the brown sugar for a single layer. Pour milk/egg/flour mixture over the top of apples. Ensure apples are covered.

Bake at 400 Degrees for 25 minutes. Serve warm.
