Turkey and Black Bean Chili

This is one of my FAVORITE Chili recipes! It has always been a hit with my family as well! Hope that you enjoy it as well!


  • 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 onion or shallot chopped in Super Sonic Compact or Extra
  • 1 bell pepper seeded and chopped in Super Sonic Compact or Extra
  • 4 garlic cloves minced with Garlic Mincer or can be chopped up in SuperSonic compact
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey extra lean
  • 1 – 15 oz can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 – 14.5 oz Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Fixings for after making:

  • Shredded Colby Jack Cheese – Shredded in the Great Master Shreader
  • Sour Cream
  • Other favorite things to top it with

Steps for making

  • Step 1: Open all the cans with the Tupperware Can Opener. Drain and Rinse the black beans with the Double Colander
  • Step 2: In the Tupperware Pressure Cooker add the ground turkey, beans, tomatoes, green pepper, oil, garlic, spices and salt. Lightly mix the spices into the tomatoes and keep the ground turkey covered with the liquid.
  • Step 3: Lock and Latch the Tupperware Pressure Cooker and place it in the Microwave. Microwave on High for 20-25 minutes. (I usually go 23 minutes)
  • Step 4: While the Tupperware Pressure Cooker is cooking use the Grate Master Shredder to shred the cheese.
  • Step 5: When the Microwave is done allow the Tupperware Pressure Cooker to depressurize. You will know it is depressurized when the pressure indicator goes down.
  • Serve with your favorite chili fixings!
  • If there is any left over you can store it in your Vent n Serves in the Fridge or Freezer for another day!
