Spiced Grilled Pineapple
This is a sweet and savory treat perfect for the grilling season ahead! The great thing is I made it in the Micro Pro Grill so it could be made year round! By itself it is Zero points for those of you doing Weight Watchers, but if you want to add ice cream to it that would of course not be 😉 but WOULD be a nice addition!
For the Grilled Pineapple you need Pumpkin Pie Spice. We did not have any so I looked up how to make some! Thanks to www.tasteofhome.com I was able to find a great one! It is:
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Combine all the ingredients and store in a Tupper Mini or Spice Container for long term storage!
Then slice off the peelings of the pineapple to prepare it for Grilling!
Cut it into slices and arrange them on the Micro Pro Grill. Sprinkle with the spice. Then place it in the “Grill Mode” for 3 minutes.
Flip with our Nylon Tongs, sprinkle other side with Pumpkin Pie Spice and grill for 3 more minutes.
