Not just for Jello anymore
When I was growing up when we would have family gatherings the kitchens were always full of the aunts getting things together. One of my aunts had the most beautiful collection of brass ring molds hanging from her kitchen like decorations. What I noticed though is many times she actually used the Tupperware Jel-Ring to make her sweet treats! Below is a recipe from a my friend Mary along with her picture! I can’t wait to try it out!
8 oz. Cream Cheese, Room Temperature
1 Package Jell-O No Bake Cheesecake (Pie filling – optional)
Follow instructions to prepare the graham cracker crust. Prepare filling in the Mix-N-Stor Pitcher as indicated on box, adding the 8 oz. pkg. of cream cheese. Turn Jel-Ring Mold upside down (have insert already in place). Spread pie filling (or fruit filling in Box) around mold. Pour the Cheesecake filling over the fruit. Place the crumb mixture on top of the filling. Put seal on and chill. Unmold and serve.
*Add 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips to the cheesecake mixture. Unmold & drizzle with Caramel Ice Cream Topping and Chocolate Topping.
*Add 1/2—1 cup melted chocolate chips & 1/2—1 cup peanut butter to cheesecake mixture.
*Add 1 package English Toffee Dessert Blend to the cheesecake mixture. (Sprinkle Heath Bits in the mold, then add the Cheesecake filling, then crumb mixture.) Garnish with Whipped topping.
