Mouthwatering Gluten Free Tater Tot Hotdish in under 20 minutes

One of our family’s favorite meals is Gluten Free Tater Tot Hotdish! For people outside of Minnesota this Gluten Free Tater Tot Hotdish would also be called Gluten Free Tater Tot Casserole. It is a simple comfort food item that is prepared in minutes using our MicroPro Grill and Stack Cooker.

Tater Tot Hotdish in under 20 minutes

Prep: 5 Minutes | Cook: 17 Minutes | Servings: 6

  • 16 ounces Ground Turkey
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheese using Grate Master Shredder
  • 1/2 can french cut green beans
  • 1 bag tater-tots (gluten free)

OPTIONAL GLUTEN FREE: In MicroPitcher, add all of the Cream of Chicken items (see below). Mix. Microwave on high for 1 minutes. Mix. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Set aside. Or use a can of cream of chicken soup

OPTIONAL GLUTEN FREE: In a bowl, add all items in the Onion Soup Mix portion of recipe. Set aside. Or use one package Onion Soup Mix.

Put 16 oz of Ground Turkey into the Stack Cooker using the colander. Place the Colander into the base and cover. Microwave on high for 6 minutes checking and stirring half way through.

After the Ground Turkey is cooked through add it to the MicroPro Grill. Then, add onion soup mix and chopped onion and mix.

Using the Tupperware Can Opener open and add 1/2 can french cut green beans as layer to top of turkey mixture.

Add Cream of Chicken as layer to the top of green beans. If using store bought Cream of Chicken use the Tupperware Can opener to open it so you can use the Spatula to get all of the soup out without hurting the Spatula

Shred the cheese of your choice (we prefer colby) with the Grate Master Shredder. Then, add the shredded cheese as layer to the top of the Cream of Chicken.

Add layer of Tater Tots. Put MicroPro Grill cover on in casserole mode. Cook on high for 12 minutes. (NOTE: It’s very possible that the cover will be sitting right on top of the tater tots, that is fine.

Gluten Free Cream of Chicken Soup

  • 1 cup cold milk (2% or more)
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon butter (unsalted)
  • 1 teaspoon dry chicken broth

Gluten Free Onion Soup Mix

  • 1/2 cup dry minced onion
  • 2 teaspoon dry beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
